• Preferred Bangladesh Veterinary Council Certification

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work in farm/project locations.

Responsibilities & Context:

The Veterinary Doctor will be responsible for ensuring the overall health, productivity, and welfare of farm animals, with a primary focus on cattle. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge in livestock health management and the ability to adapt to multiple agro-farm sectors as the business grows.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide regular health checkups, diagnosis, treatment, and emergency care for farm animals, especially cattle.

• Develop and implement preventive health programs, including vaccination, deworming, and disease control.

• Monitor animal behavior, nutrition, reproduction, and overall productivity.

• Maintain proper farm biosecurity, hygiene, and quarantine protocols.

• Keep accurate records of treatment, vaccination, mortality, medication, and health status.

• Advise management on animal welfare, breeding, feeding, and farm health improvement.

• Train and guide farm staff on animal handling, hygiene, and early disease detection.

• Support future expansion into poultry, fish, and other livestock or agro-based sectors.

• Work closely with management to ensure smooth, healthy, and efficient farm operations.

• Perform any other task assigned by the Honorable Management Authority.
