Autobahn Solutions Ltd. is one of Bangladesh’s leading premium automotive service centers, specializing in European and Japanese vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and hybrid vehicles.
We are expanding our operations and looking for a highly capable Workshop Manager to lead day-to-day workshop operations, technical coordination, staff management, quality control, and service efficiency.
Position: Workshop Manager
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete workshop operations and ensure smooth daily workflow.
Supervise technicians, service advisors, floor supervisors, and workshop staff.
Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed according to company standards and manufacturer procedures.
Monitor vehicle progress, delivery timelines, workshop productivity, and technician performance.
Coordinate with service advisors regarding quotations, repair approvals, parts requirements, and delivery commitments.
Ensure proper quality control (QC) and road testing before vehicle delivery.
Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance.
Diagnose and support complex technical or electrical issues when required.
Ensure efficient bay management, job card tracking, and proper workshop documentation.
Reduce delays, improve efficiency, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Monitor inventory usage and coordinate with the parts department for timely parts availability.
Train and guide workshop staff to improve technical standards and workflow efficiency.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifts.
Prepare operational reports and update management regarding workshop performance.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years experience in automotive workshop/service center management.
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, mechanical systems, and workshop operations.
Experience working with European and Japanese vehicles preferred.
Leadership ability with strong team management skills.
Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple ongoing jobs efficiently.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of workshop software, diagnostics systems, and operational procedures is an advantage.
Candidates with dealership or premium workshop experience will receive priority.
