Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Mission (General responsabilities/Context) :
∎ Purpose of the Post:
∎ Administering vaccines to individuals of all ages and maintaining accurate records, including reporting to the relevant management.Overseeing and managing the storage and transportation of vaccines.Engaging in vaccination campaigns and providing education to the community
∎
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ • Administer EPI, TD, and other vaccines to infants, children, and adults following established guidelines and schedules.
∎ • Ensure a consistent daily supply of vaccines.
∎ • Maintain proper conditions for vaccine storage and transport.
∎ • Conduct regular checks on vaccines, both in and out of refrigeration.
∎ • Participate in vaccination campaigns organized by health authorities and organizations.
∎ • Inform patients and the community about the benefits of vaccines, potential side effects, and the necessity of subsequent doses.
∎ • Serve as the primary point of contact for vaccine inventory management and to avert shortages.
∎ • Maintain precise records of vaccinations given, including details of patients and their follow-up schedules.
∎ • Gather and submit vaccination data for reports to government entities and Tdh.
∎ • Work with outreach teams and community health workers to ensure follow-up with individuals due for vaccinations.
∎ • Keep detailed records of vaccinations and provide updates regularly.
∎ • Support large-scale vaccination initiatives during disease outbreaks and on national immunization days.
∎ • Show respect for and comprehension of local cultural practices to foster trust and promote vaccination uptake.
∎ • Show respect to all colleagues and contribute to effective teamwork.
∎ • Carry out any extra tasks given by the supervisor. Observe and comply with management decisions.
