Job Context:
∎ The vaccinator will be responsible for the management of the IRCs Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) activities in the Rohingya Refugee Camp, Cox Bazar. The vaccinator will assist with set-up of Clinics and layout, supplies, staff recruitment, guidelines and procedures, outreach services
∎ The vaccinator will implement and take charge of immunization activities in the PHCC and outreach, and will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality EPI services to the local catchment populations. The vaccinator together with the PHCC team will contribute to improving the IRC’s existing health programs in the camps.
∎ (S)he is responsible for EPI activities in the PHCC. Management of cold chain to be checked daily, Washing and sterilization of procedure drapers, proper arrangement of ice packs, good care of the instruments, Assist the medical staff (doctor, MA, nurses and midwives) in provision of services. Ready to work on outreach team when needed with MoH and HEs team when needed.

∎ Contract Length: Up to May 31, 2020 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Management of all phases of the cold chain, including products in transit, in process, in storage, and in display
∎ Provide vaccine to patients and clients as needed and scheduled by the MoH vaccination calendar.
∎ Vaccination campaign with MoH/WHO and vaccination
∎ Keep cold chain as per WHO /MoH standards
∎ Manage EPI equipment - ensure that fridge is protected from dust Instruments sterilization and packing
∎ Will keep good communication with different sectors in aspect of immunization related issues
∎ Participate to EPI campaign with MoH when needed
∎ Monitoring & Reporting:
∎ Monitor of vaccine in the fridge and outside the fridge
∎ Bi-daily temperature monitoring
∎ Daily/Weekly report to be sent on time
∎ Make requisition for vaccines and vaccine supplement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Recognized EPI vaccinator by the MoH.
∎ Experience in management of health facilities and staff, including previous experience of supervising and mentoring other health staff
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives
∎ Skills to provide sensitive and appropriate medical counselling
∎ Required to be team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion and diplomacy
∎ Required to be able to and willing to assist with carrying patients on stretchers and carrying equipment
∎ Ability to be innovative, flexible, adaptive, and willingness to work in potentially stressful and challenging environments
∎ Ability to live in challenging conditions
Salary: Tk. 25200 (Monthly)
