∎ About the Project
∎ IPE Global has been awarded the project for Preparation of Tourism Master Plan for Bangladesh. The Tourism Master Plan will serve as the guideline for ensuring sustainable development of tourism and blueprint for the planned development of the tourist sites utilizing the country`s tourism resources.
∎ Preparation of the Master Plan will ensure participation of all concerned departments, parties and entities so that they can agree on the common vision, policies, strategic directions, programs, proposed projects and implementations. The Master Plan will provide a clear road map for the sector over next 20-25 years, with the focus on achieving incremental growth of tourism in Bangladesh.
∎ Location : IPE Global Limited, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Travel to various districts to assist and / or carry out surveys/stakeholder consultations
∎ Coordinate and collect data from various departments
∎ Undertake analysis and assessments, develop innovative solutions, write project reports based on strong & relevant research, etc.
∎ Work closely with the team in operationalizing agreed plans
∎ Technical assistance to improve both individual and institutional performances for effective outcomes.
∎ Support in organizing events, workshop, webinars etc.
∎ Hold self-accountability for making decisions and manage resources efficiently.
∎ Any other related activities, as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of experience in areas related to physical planning, Tourism & urban development preferably in corporate or international organizations.
∎ Proficiency in MS office(Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), ESRI ArcGIS
∎ Fluency in English with good writing and communication skills is mandatory.
∎ Excellent research and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability (through published work, articles, etc.) to write and comprehend effectively.
∎ Prior experience of working on master plan projects or any tourism project is preferred.
∎ Willingness to travel to project locations for extended period of time.
