Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Development Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Disaster management, Geography Environment or any other relevant discipline., Bachelor degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation of the Project in the city corporation areas. (60%)
∎ Formation of SHG and promoting IGA activity.
∎ Demonstration of Resilience Livelihood model.
∎ Conduct Training, Meeting & Sessions.
∎ Lead the Beneficiary selection process.
∎ Revise Risk Reduction plan and Consulate the RRAP.
∎ Urban Volunteer selection and promote social Business with them.
∎ Conduct WDMC, CDMC & DDMC meeting regularly
∎ Organize Go green Camping as per requirement by the project
∎ Case study Prepare on DRR and CC Issus
∎ Responsible for all the Ward level activities including selection of Ward, Slum, safety planning, awareness sessions, mock drills etc.
∎ Conduct relevant activities such as arranging sessions, data collection, reporting, door-to-door coordination, event arrangement, etc.
∎ Coordination (10%)
∎ Ensure effective coordination with the local City Corporation , DC office, FSCD, BRCS and local representative
∎ Regular Communication with Mayor, ward Councilor and Beneficiary.
∎ Coordination with District Disaster Management community.
∎ Coordination with Extraction service provider for Linkage Poor beneficiary.
∎ Effective and efficient use of project assets and resources (5%)
∎ Ensure that local purchase and expenditure are done as per Islamic Relief Bangladesh policy.
∎ Maintain the stock book, Inventory and other essential register properly and timely in effective manner.
∎ Checking the all bill voucher within the team and forwarded to Finance officer for necessary action.
∎ City Corporation based field office management and reporting of the field office (10%)
∎ Effectively coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth and effective functions of field office management in all aspect.
∎ Ensure preparation of all periodic reports on implementation progress including financial report.
∎ Reporting (15%)
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
∎ Frequent Case study writing & submit to IRCO
∎ Regular report submit to DC office and City Corporation.
∎ Taking meeting minutes and preparing report of visits.
∎ Provide any other report as required.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief Bangladesh as a child friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each and every staff member to understand and obey IRB Child Protection Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
