Job Context:
∎ Location: Moheskhali, Kutubdia & Pekua under CARE Bangladesh Cox`s Bazar Field Office.
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to May 31, 2021 with possibility of extension.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Technical support
∎ Lead the field EFSN project team (community mobilizers , CDOs, program support officers) in the field level
∎ Provide necessary orientation and training to project personnel, required for EFSN Women group
∎ Ensure supportive supervisions and guidance of community mobilizers for quality and timely completion of cash transfer activities
∎ Assist the Project Coordinator to develop comprehensive training modules on enterprise development, behavior change communication , market linkage
∎ Prepare and follow a detailed implementation work plan and maintain regular tracking with necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion of all cash transfer activities
∎ Extend technical support to the community mobilizers , as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience in food security and livelihood program implementation
∎ Knowledge in gender, youth and children focused approach
∎ Experience in cash based programming
∎ Experience working in climate sensitive livelihood approach
∎ Experience in in community mobilization and organizing learning sharing events involving community, practitioners and researchers and policy makers.
∎ Good communication, report writing and presentation skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Good interpersonal and team management skills.
∎ Computer skills on computer software e. g MS office, internet.
∎ Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality.
∎ Experience in maintaining stakeholder relations with local government, administration and civil society
∎ Motor Cycle driving with permanent and valid driving license is highly preferable.
∎ Core Competencies:
∎ Facilitation skills, knowledge in pro-poor program implementation.
∎ Knowledge of multicultural intervention and ability to deal with GO, NGO, CB0 & LEBs.
∎ Experience on Participating Learning Action and Community Led development approach
∎ Good understanding about rural community, its dynamics, power structure and development issues.
Salary:
∎ Candidates are expected to join at the minimum of the scale. Scale range for the position begins at BDT 44,241 with other admissible benefits.
