Education:
Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in development work with non-governmental organizations in relevant fields.
Candidates with experience in similar roles or equivalent positions will be given preference.
Bachelor’s degree in climate change, agriculture, environmental sciences, social science / rural development, or related fields.
Proven experience in implementing and managing community-led climate adaptation or food security projects or livelihood projects at the field level.
Must have the capacity and skills to work in coordination with Upazila-level administration.
Capable of staff management, supervision, and capacity building.

Implement, supervise, and monitor grassroots-level activities of the CALL Project as outlined in the project proposal, under the guidance of the Project Manager and the Regional Director of Caritas Rajshahi Region.
Plan, organize, and implement advocacy and networking initiatives on key issues such as climate change, land rights, and water rights. Actively involve civil society, government officials, and the public to promote and protect the rights of marginalized communities over natural resources.
Provide regular technical support and guidance to field facilitators and project beneficiaries to enhance their technical capacities. Facilitate training sessions for smallholder farmers and their collectives engaged in the project.
Support the establishment of various demonstrations and trial plots based on crop rotation and diversification, ensuring active participation of project beneficiaries.
Assist field facilitators in organizing smallholder farmer collectives at the village level. Facilitate their capacity-building efforts and strengthen internal networking and coordination.
Participate in coordination meetings at the Upazila level, representing Caritas Bangladesh in forums organized by government and non-government organizations.
Prepare field visit reports, donor-specific reports, Caritas annual reports, and relevant government reports in consultation with the Project Manager and under the guidance of the Regional Director.
Develop and monitor monthly, half-yearly, and annual activity and financial plans to ensure effective project implementation.
Ensure timely utilization of project budgets in compliance with donor requirements. Prepare and submit bills/vouchers to the regional office promptly.
Ensure proper visibility and representation of project activities within the project area.
Support the project team in implementing daily project activities and provide ongoing guidance as needed.
Organize and facilitate seminars, workshops, meetings, and training sessions at the Upazila level.
Coordinate effectively with donor representatives, management teams, other projects, and internal/external stakeholders.
Network and collaboration with government agencies (GO), non-governmental organizations (NGO), and private sector actors to enhance project outcomes.
Maintain proper documentation and publication of all project-related activities and results.
Ensure the safety, maintenance, and efficient use of project resources.
Provide constructive feedback for staff performance evaluations and capacity development.
Monitor and ensure project progress aligns with the approved implementation plan.
Promote and maintain a gender-sensitive and inclusive environment at both office and community levels.
Protection Mainstreaming and Quality Programming
Ensure proper implementation of referral pathways and reporting mechanisms; provide support to staff as necessary.
Monitor and report on protection concerns and emerging trends within the areas of operation.
Coordinate effectively with the designated protection focal point of CB to ensure integrated programming.
