• Essential Bachelor in any related discipline (Civil, structural/architectural or Mechanical engineering degree) with formal technical training, Diploma in any technical family is a benefit.
• At least two year in MSF or 3 years in a similar post out of MSF
• Mission language essential; local language desirable

Supervising the daily logistics activities and providing maintenance to the MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect conditions and collaborate in the development of the mission.
MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
• Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards
• Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager's supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor's instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices
• Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/set-up according to MSF standards
• Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person's task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities
• Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and Instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks
• Managing and following up orders which includes collecting logistics orders coming from different departments or health facilities; drawing up and following up orders according to the procedures in force; providing technical support to the storekeeper, makes local purchases according to MSF supply procedures and ensures reception conditions of freight or arriving material as well as the organization and setting up of materials before its shipment
Facility management
• Supervising the daily logistical construction activities, providing upgrades to MSF equipment, facilities and infrastructures, according to MSF standards and protocols in order to maintain the facilities in perfect condi-tions.
• As Technical logistics supervisor, function as focal point for executing technical/construction projects as de-scribed in the logistic annex/budget with support of the Hospital Facility Manager
• Assess, develop and organize tenders for outside contractors and supply team, incl. BoQ
• Supervise and organize work in the Hospital with both outside contractors and internal maintenance team
• Develop design drawings and/or sketches for construction projects
• Collaborate with hospital medical team to facilitate smooth implementation of construction projects.
• Assist oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital infrastructure, including building, HVAC, electrical systems, and energy setup, ensuring optimal functionality in support of the Hospital logistics su-pervisor
• Manage facility upkeep, including smooth, washable surfaces, signage for effective patient flow, and promptly repairing any damage to walls, floors, and partitions.
• Assist Line manager in identifying and escalating budget needs for future renovation, rehabilitation, and maintenance and small-scale construction projects as described in budget.
Applied Security
• Contribute to contingency planning for security threats and operational disruptions, and conduct risk as-sessments (e.g., premises security, fire, energy) in the absence of Hospital logistics supervisor.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of safety systems, such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, Security lighting and fencing.
• Act as backup security focal point, coordinating visitor access and liaising with the security team.
• Compile reports on security incidents, and mitigation measures for further reference and improvement in cooperation with Hospital logistics supervisor
Supply
• Prepare internal requests and BoQ, assess needs, conduct feasibility analysis regarding internal technical construction projects and projects with external contractors.
• Manage communication between requestor and project supply team, oversee quality control, and ensure proper reception and delivery of items to requestors.
General Administration and Team management
• Supervise and manage the team, including Base and Facilities Officer, Maintenance Agents and Head of Watchmen, ensuring smooth operations in the absence of Hospital Logistics supervisor.
• Develop and manage team schedules and rosters, handle leave requests, and ensure sufficient coverage in the absence of Hospital logistics supervisor
• Plan and delegate daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, while fostering team development through training and capacity-building initiatives in cooperation with Hospital logistics supervisor.
• Prepare and submit timely reports on team construction activities, progress, and challenges to Hospital Fa-cility Manager or management.
• Coordinate with other departments and ensure all activities comply with MSF policies and standards.
This is a Permanente Position. Salary according to (Level 6) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 85,500 Gross). Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff.
There is no provisions for relocation. 2 Festival Bonuses after completion of one year of uninterrupted continuous service.
