Job Context:
∎ Khulna Mukti Seba Sangstha (KMSS) is a Bangladeshi development organization that has been working in the public health sector for the last 22 years and currently implementing different projects in 5 districts. KMSS intends to hire 4 competent Union Facilitators (UF) for its `Climate Change Health Resilience` Project to be implemented in Mongla Upazila of Bagerhat District as a downstream partner of Partners in Health and Development (PHD), in support of UNFPA, funded by FCDO. KMSS, with Management support from PHD will implement the project with a collaborative exercise with the Climate Change & Health Promotion Unit (CCHPU), Health Services Division, District Health, and Family Planning Department, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and UNFPA Bangladesh office.
∎ Job objective: For effective implementation of the planned project activities at the Union level and provide day-to-day support to the project team in achieving the proposed activities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Field Coordinator and work with her/him for the implementation of Project activities successfully
∎ Support in the implementation of community mobilization works effectively and efficiently.
∎ Close collaboration with union-level GoB staff and other stakeholders
∎ Arrange meetings/Sessions at the community level
∎ Prepare and submit monthly reports based on the data from the field
∎ Support to organize street drama, folk songs, and film show at the Community level under the Upazila by engaging interactive theatre group and relevant actors to mobilize the community people on SRHR and GBV.
∎ Any other assignment assigned by the KMSS Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years of experience in the implementation of Maternal, Child, reproductive, Nutrition, and mental health project (s)
∎ Good interpersonal skills and working in diverse teams.
∎ Good speaking and writing skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Ability to work in demanding situations
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
