∎ Post Graduate in any subject. Graduation in Agriculture/Agriculture Engineering/Water management or in the relevant subjects will be given preference.

∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Working experience as a trainer in the relevant field of at least 3 years.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in learning and instructional design and the measurement of training effects.
∎ Good command of written and spoken English and Bangla
∎ Demonstrated ability to create accurate, well-written training materials.
∎ Able to drive a motorbike with a valid driving license.
∎ Good computer skills.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a remote area.
∎ Proven ability to work in an intercultural environment.
∎ Willingness to travel extensively across the country.
∎ Willing to drive a motorcycle with a valid driving license.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assessment of knowledge and skill gap of project staff and target beneficiaries and development of capacity building plan for project staff and target beneficiaries.
∎ Development of training materials on Climate Smart Agriculture/Regenerative Agriculture, efficient use of water in agriculture, micro watershed assessment and selection for restoration, governance in the Watershed committee and executive committee of Local Water Users Group based on identified knowledge and skill gap of project staff and targeted beneficiaries.
∎ Development of capacity building plan for project staff and project beneficiaries and implementation of the plan through organizing and facilitating capacity-building activities.
∎ Develop and implement a system of evaluation of training and monitoring of capacity building and learning initiatives.
∎ In coordination with program staff, contribute to achieving set indicators of the resulting chain.
∎ Work with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to develop an appropriate data collection system.
∎ Review, evaluate, and modify training curricula available within the project or from other public-private sources where appropriate.
∎ Identify technical expertise required, procure and seek inputs from the Project implementation team as needed.
∎ Maintain necessary liaison with the local, national and international knowledge institutes for exploring CSA/RA and water use efficiency technologies.
∎ Support field staff in designing demonstration and trial plots on the above-mentioned technologies, and provide backstopping support and guidance to the field staff for establishing and monitoring the demo and trial plots.§ Monitor the quality of training inputs and provide support as required. Monitor training costs, and ensure costs are reasonable, allowable, and within the budget.
∎ Analyze performance feedback and results. Modify/improve training materials as required.
∎ Document and disseminate the package of learning interventions and their outcomes.
∎ Prepare the training report, capture learning, and develop learning documents.
∎ Support the Project Manager in enhancing team spirit and creating an enabling environment within the team.
∎ Engage with the activities as would be assigned by the supervisor.
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is implementing SAFAL for Integrated Water Resources Management (SAFAL for IWRM) project supported by Solidaridad.
