Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Graduate/ Bachelor in Textile Engineering/ MBA in Fashion Design Technology / Knitwear Technology from reputed universities/ institutions.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate will be responsible merchandising of garments export orders from different buyers and product development for Branding Company products by assured quality & designs.
∎ Maintaining good liaison with the existing & prospective buyers for order taking purpose.
∎ Communicating & handling buyer's order inquiries, quoting & checking prices, finalizing orders.
∎ To make costing, sourcing of fabrics, trims & accessories.
∎ Booking Production capacities according to the accepted annual sales budget.
∎ To follow on Developments, Samples and Production with a high degree of personal responsibility for successful execution of buyers order.
∎ Sourcing, monitoring & managing raw materials according to buyer's quality requirements and designated time frame.
∎ Providing internal communication to bridge information from client to production and timely transfer of client's Technical specification, production requirement, queries to all related department.
∎ Managing buyer's account from order inquiry to shipment.
∎ Acquiring information on production status, quality issues, delivery status, etc. & updating management accordingly.
∎ To maintain liaison with buyers and quality officials to ensure on time shipment and 100% quality approval.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have good communication skill in English for both speaking and writing.
∎ Capable of making consumption of fabrics, accessories and pricing of all kinds of knit items precisely.
∎ Well conversant with Garment manufacturing process and quality aspects.
∎ Should have updated knowledge on the global RMG market & fashion/ trend.
∎ Should have good analytic power, negotiation and communication skills.
∎ Capable to handle high working load.
∎ Proactive and able to work independently.
∎ Good command in MS applications (Microsoft Word & Excel).
∎ Must possess & exhibit strong leadership abilities.
