Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or Business.

• Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabrics (knits, wovens, denim), and trims

• Strong numerical skills for costing, pricing, and order tracking

• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and ERP systems

• Excellent communication for vendor follow-ups and cross-functional coordination

• Assist in identifying and evaluating garment manufacturers, fabric suppliers, and trim vendors globally

• Support negotiations on fabric costs, stitching charges, MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), and delivery timelines

• Help maintain a supplier database with key metrics (quality, compliance, lead time)

• Coordinate with designers and technical teams on sample development (proto samples, fit samples, PP samples)

• Assist in fabric & trim sourcing, lab testing, and quality approvals

• Track order status from development to bulk production and shipment

• Prepare cost sheets (FOB, CMT) and compare supplier quotes for best value

• Monitor fabric consumption, wastage, and production efficiency to optimize costs

• Research global apparel trends, fabric innovations, and sustainable sourcing practices

• Analyze competitor brands for pricing, materials, and sourcing strategies

• Assist in issuing purchase orders (POs), tech packs, and production schedules

• Maintain records of orders, approvals, and supplier communications

• Ensure suppliers comply with brand standards, social compliance (BSCI, WRAP), and sustainability (organic cotton, recycled fabrics)
