Experience:
Understand the safety guidelines that need to follow in depot, and lead the team to follow guidelines in full.
Implement and follow GWT quality guidelines in the depot and guide team to follow it with proper understanding.
Ensure all goods movements are performing in right time and lead team to comply with SOP.
Ensure effective controls are there in dispatch process to ensure FEFO order in dispatch cargo.
Train team on traceability aspects and keep proper records in terms of product movement to do traceability exercise.
Focus on depot housekeeping, hygiene and storage best practices by assigning adequate resources and following up on their adherence regularly.
Inspect all legal/ regulatory documents and client specific documents in regular manner to ensure all documents are available and updated.
Prepare for all internal and external audits and physical stock verifications to ensure all audits are faced with sufficient preparation and resources.
Define a way to identify HR and administrator related issues/ concerns of depot staff and escalate to management to seek solutions.
Manage any exceptional operation requirement from client with reasonably justified resources (restacking, VAS activity, etc)Provide the reports that management assigned to share, accurately and timely manner.
Explore opportunities to improve the operational efficiency and mitigate cost of depot without impacting operational performance.
Ensure proactive maintenance of machines that are used in depot operation and maintain proper service records.
Keep proper records of staff attendance, leaves and extra work/ holiday work details and share those details with relevant parties appropriately.
Observe regulatory documents in periodical manner and take measures to renew documents when and if needed.
Handle depot petty cash requirement with proper records and replenish on time.
Overlook safety aspects of maintenance activities including the maintenance activities handled by third party service providers.
Prepare labor/ temporary staff salaries and share the details with finance with proper authorization.
Coordinate with third party suppliers on maintenance works to get the best options and justify the maintenance cost.
Closely observe labor regulations compliance of the depot operation and highlight whenever any observation occurs.
Ensure all safety and maintenance related checklist are going on agreed frequency.
