Job Context:
∎ FUNCTIONS & REPORTING LINE
∎ The Textiles Auditor reports to the Quality & Compliance Manager
∎ The main responsibility is to ensure that implemented systems and procedures within the garmenting & the Composite departments are maintained to continuously improve fabric & garment quality within the minimum costs.
∎ Improvements in any department form part of the main responsibility as well.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The auditor has to carry out daily audits in both garmenting & composite units regarding fabric quality inspections / quality records, approval & monitoring, data compilations, process & procedures as scheduled by the Quality & Compliance Manager & as per approved checklist.
∎ Review of all proposed improvements to ensure integration in the different departments.
∎ The auditor must be able to identify any issue which is leading to fabric or material wastage in any department & reports to the Quality & Compliance Manager.
∎ Participates in improvement meeting as requested by the Quality & Compliance Manager or as internally done in the unit.
∎ Audit report needs to be prepared & sent to concerned parties after approval by the Quality & Compliance Manager
∎ The auditor has to work with the concerned garment fabric team regarding improvements required after an audit has been done = A corrective action report needs to be filled accordingly.
∎ After every audit, a follow-up audit is required. The auditor has the responsibility to verify that the proposed actions have been implemented effectively
∎ For any new improvement brought regarding garment/fabric improvements, this shall be added in checklist for auditing purposes
∎ Scoreboard needs to be filled in & submitted every week for everyone's reference
∎ The auditor shall need to carry out any specific tasks assigned by the Quality & Compliance Manager
∎ Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques to resolve quality issues through proper cause and effect analysis and implementation of effective remedial actions.
∎ Monitor Quality statistics, facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.
∎ Provides comprehensive analysis reports to the Management for necessary actions & for the betterment of the company.
