Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical expertise and/or engineering support for engineering, deployment and operation of IT solutions related to the Cyber Security, Fiber Optics, Firewall, Real Time Networks, and Wireless (RF) Communication technologies. Skills should include working knowledge of routing, switching and associated protocols that enable the individual to independently perform network design and device configurations. Ability to prepare and write design standards where none exists and maintaining on-going configuration and maintenance of installed infrastructure.
∎ Ensure appropriate implementation with approved standards and architecture to meet the Utility Smart Grid application requirements.
∎ Perform network devices version and patch update/upgrade.
∎ Site Survey and analysis the requirements.
∎ Installation, testing and troubleshooting of Telecom Devices at site.
∎ Prepare project documentation i.e. Low Level Design (LLD), Hand Over Documents, Product Acceptance Document (PAT) etc.
∎ Planning IP Address/VLAN scheme, Route design, Wi-Fi Solution
∎ Any other job as per managements requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Typically 2 to 5 years' experience in Network Communication, electrical, computer engineering and related communication technologies or 6- 9 equivalent combination of education and work experience.
∎ Technical certification and or knowledge in Technical Area of Specialty, where applicable, (fiber/wireless/networking) Cisco/Huawei/Hitachi/ZTE/Juniper/Tejas and any Firewall device management and configuration.
∎ Detailed understanding of NERC/CIP security requirements.
∎ Understanding on IEC 104, 61850, Modbus, Voice protocol will be advantage.
∎ Drawing management programs such as MS Visio, DrawIO, Auto-Cad or such.
∎ Knowledge on data communication and automation systems for electrical network.
∎ Ability to work as a team.
∎ Carrying out project works at night/weekend including standby duties may be required.
∎ Travelling and executing of outside capital city project maybe required
