Responsibilities & Context:
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Planning and scheduling repairs. Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
