Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum B.Sc. (Hons) in Fisheries

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement sub-project activities.
∎ Work with the SEP concerned staff to formulate plans and ensure effective implementation of the plan.
∎ Identify new/improved environment-friendly aquaculture technologies.
∎ Provide technical support to Micro-enterprises (MEs) through linkage with value chain actors to solve problems.
∎ Capacity building of lead farmers on globally accepted sustainable aquaculture framework for professional farm management, good aquaculture practices, food safety and hygiene, better social and environmental practices at the community level
∎ Establish a traceability system in the selected farms.
∎ Maintain linkages with different value chain actors (hatchery owners, inputs sellers, market actors, transporter, etc).
∎ Impart training on new/improved environment-friendly aquaculture technologies, set up a demonstration, arrange farmers' field day, exposure visit, etc.
∎ Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, seminars, etc.
∎ Visit sub-projects to identify opportunities and constraints, monitor progress, and observe impacts.
∎ Supervise the activities of sub-ordinates.
∎ Assist in preparing reports, case studies, etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 2 years
∎ Proven knowledge of implementing fisheries-related Technical support.
∎ Field level experience in different activities such as workshops, seminars and have a good command on mitigation of different Technical issues.
∎ Good computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Typing (Both English and Bangla).

Salary:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 35,000 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
