Educational Requirements:

∎ The project - Enhance Emergency Responses through Social and Economic protection for Urban slum dwellers for addressing new normal situation of Covid-19 – implemented by Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) & Muslim Aid Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO) funded by Climate Bridge Fund (CBF) aims to increase the resilience of Covid-19 affected and displaced slum population in selected slums (located at vodro leker par, vodro rail par and Daspukur) under Rajshahi City Corporation area by increasing social protection and ensuring sustainable livelihood through ensuring access to proper water, sanitation, increasing awareness related to Covid-19, and providing technical training to make the population skilful enough to get a work or be an entrepreneur or get a job. Improved WASH practices will help the slum dwellers to prevent themselves from water borne diseases and hence will reduce out of pocket expenditure. This will ultimately result in increased resilience. This project will also address gender - slum women, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), transgender community and elderly people - in all of its components.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as a Technical Expert – TVET of RESCUE project, facilitated the project activities related to TVET through partnership approach at the project locations.
∎ Develop Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBT&A) materials, including, Competency profile, Competency Standards (CS), Course Accreditation Document (CAD), Competency Based Curricula (CBC), Competency Based Learning Materials (CBLM) and Assessment Tools with the engagement of private sector, Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and other relevant stakeholder.
∎ Facilitate the engagement of private sector along with business associations, i.e. Hotel Malik Samity, Food panda, Daraz, Minabazar, Shwapno, Agora and partnering for the training package development and job placement.
∎ Support partner for selecting youths for skills Training programme and facilitate the Skills Development Training programme.
∎ Coordinate between partner and support service departments of Dhaka office, including budget and other resources and ensure required supports to the field for smooth implementation of the project.
∎ Support Muslim Aid UK Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO) to monitor the TVET related activity according to the Detail Plan of Action (DPA), log frame and budget.
∎ Coach and guide implementing partner for accomplishing the project activities related to TVET.
∎ Record and share the project field findings to Project Manager/Donor and team members for capitalization.
∎ Produce and share timely reports for internal and external use on the status of on-going programming; prepare technical reports (activity reports) and others are per project requirements.
∎ Contribute to seminars and workshop to disseminate the project learning as and when required.
∎ Comply with Muslim Aid policies and practice with respect to safeguarding, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
∎ Perform any other assignment given by management.
∎ Collaborate closely with the other related skills development Initiatives of MABFO and ensure close cooperation with the private sector (enterprises, business associations, specialized organizations), government bodies (such as BTEB, DTE, BMET, NSDC), I/NGOs and other projects to access the potentiality for training package development.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 years’ professional work experience in TVET programme focusing on CBT&A and experienced in operating of TVET and livelihood programme. Planning, monitoring, and evaluation in diversified livelihoods activities within a development organization I/NGO;
∎ Experience and skills in coordinating with government agencies, other partner organizations, Donors, and with local authorities
∎ Technical knowledge on monitoring, evaluation, capturing lessons learn, capitalizing project success, leading in baseline & end line survey, conducting/facilitating training/workshop and reporting;
∎ Strong knowledge of the TVET and skills development sector and system in Bangladesh abreast with current developments
∎ Good knowledge on computer MS office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).

Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
