Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in science or social science discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Disaster Management and Environment/ Climate Change.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to April 30, 2021
∎ Reporting to: Coordinator - Humanitarian & Resilience Program at CBDO, with matrix relation with Technical Coordinator (DRR) and Technical Coordinator (Shelter) PRERONA at Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Working Conditions: This is a position based in CARE Bangladesh Dhaka office (CBDO) with regular field visits (up to 15-20%) to Cox`s Bazar Sadar, Ramu and Maheshkhali.Sadar

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 years of experience in knowledge management related to community based disaster risk reduction, climate change, institutional capacity building etc.
∎ Knowledge in gender and children focused approach to development, DRR and resilience.
∎ Demonstrated capacity to work with teams.
∎ Experience in organizing knowledge sharing events involving community, practitioners and researchers and policy makers.
∎ Computer skills on computer software e. g MS office, internet.
∎ Good communication and report writing skill in English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
∎ Team player
∎ Problem solving
∎ Networking for advocacy.
