∎ Technical Coordinator - Gender in Emergencies will lead integration of gender into CARE Bangladesh- Cox's Bazar's humanitarian work and act as a coordination point to mainstream best practices and standards for gender equality in emergencies. She/he will work closely with CARE's humanitarian team, implementing partners and Women-led organizations and their network. She/he will have external representation responsibilities particularly with the UN cluster system. This position will also lead the GAC funded GiE project where CARE is piloting Women Lead in Emergencies (WLiE) approach. She/he will support team in terms of program assessments, strategy development, project design, project management and implementation, with major emphasize to monitoring and evaluation of activities, prepare program updates and donor reports, and proposal development as well as budget management. She/he support GAC GiE project team ensuring quality and timely delivery of the projects. Work closely with the relevant agencies of Government of Bangladesh (GoB) as well as all other members of the emergency response team and link development with emergency response activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 years' experience in gender programming
∎ Experience of implementing gender program independently working in reputed national or International NGOs.
∎ Experience in conducting comprehensive and rapid situational and need assessments and an understanding of gender requirements in emergency.
∎ Experience in project management
∎ Skills in training, monitoring and evaluation of gender in emergencies
∎ Strong writing skills and report writing.
∎ Good understanding of MS Office applications.
