Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in mass communication or social sciences.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 7 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Location: Based in Ukhiya Team Office under CARE Cox`s Bazar Field Office.
∎ Contract Duration: The duration of the proposed contract is up to October 31, 2019.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 to 7 years' professional experience in Accountability and Communication with Communities in humanitarian response operations.
∎ Demonstrated experience in DRR and emergency response operations in Bangladesh.
∎ Good analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
∎ Proficiency in using computer software, especially MS Excel.
∎ Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, Bangla and Chittagonian languages.
∎ Experience working in displacement sites including spontaneous and makeshift settlements is an added advantage.
∎ Commitment to and understanding of CARE core values and principles.
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
∎ Constructive and pro-active communication with a wide variety of actors and stakeholders.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
