∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role will contribute towards development of special/new projects in niche areas including e-commerce, pay-wall, subscriptions, data & analytics.
∎ Working closely with the IT, content, business, sales and marketing teams, this role will oversee various stages of product development and collaborating with internal/external software development teams & tech platform partners.
∎ He/she will be responsible for the deployment and integration of new products working closely with vendors and partners.
∎ To ensure success in the role, the candidate should exhibit strong technical skills and experience in managing technical projects in e-commerce and related domains.
∎ Discuss and convert product requirements from business into technical solutions and deliverables;
∎ Collaborating with system engineers, software architects, payment gateway providers and partners;
∎ Evaluating technology options and integration plans;
∎ Review technical specifications, finalizing scope and assessing estimates accurately;
∎ Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget;
∎ Ensuring compliance of technology processes, policies & governance;
∎ Keeping up with advancements in product technologies;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Hands-on experience in system integration and software development project;
∎ Past experience in at least one of the contemporary programming languages and coding such as Java, Python, PHP, .Net, JavaScript;
∎ Please note that candidate is not expected to do coding;
∎ Proficiency in using agile software development methodology and tools like github and JIRA;
∎ Up-to-date on web technologies;
∎ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills- verbal, written and presentation with ease between technical and business topics;
∎ Proficient in written and spoken English;
