Job Context:
∎ Position Summary:
∎ Deploy, monitor & operate IT infrastructure on 24x7 bases for a multi-locational enterprise. This includes maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional areas consisting of network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data center environment, web hosting, surveillance and telecommunications systems.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 24x7x365 data center operations comprising of enterprise storage, blade servers running on VMWare virtualized environment
∎ Install, configure, monitor & maintain servers in Linux and Windows environments
∎ Datacenter Power & Environment (EMS, UPS, Camera, PAC) monitoring
∎ Datacenter Access Control & CCTV Administration
∎ Active directory monitoring and maintenance
∎ File Server monitoring and maintenance
∎ Internet Services Management
∎ Security Management including managing VPNs and firewalls
∎ Wi-Fi connectivity and access control management
∎ Troubleshooting & maintenance of IP Management System
∎ Initial configuration of public cloud platforms like GCP and AWS
∎ Manage network incident, inventory and resources
∎ Provide L2/L3 support to users and support engineers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have minimum 2-5 years of experience managing Linux and/or Windows systems
∎ Certifications
∎ Linux or windows certified System Administrator is must
∎ Preferred certification in VMware, Cisco Network & Firewall
∎ Skills:
∎ Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
∎ Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and platforms
∎ Experience in virtualization platform like VMWare is desirable
∎ Very good understanding of Cisco networks and firewall
∎ Knowledge of system security, data backup & recovery
∎ SAN and storage experience is preferred
∎ Experience with active directory, DNS
∎ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS is desirable
∎ Enjoys working in a customer focused team environment while maintaining a high level of proficiency under pressure
∎ Strong work ethics, a drive for success and proactive attitude
∎ Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
∎ Good communication skills
