∎ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of experience in product development within the textile industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge of textile materials, production processes, and quality standards.
∎ Desirable experience in leadership roles and strong leadership skills.
∎ Desirable knowledge of PLM software.
∎ Strong knowledge of Corel, Illustrator, and MS Office.
∎ intermediate to advanced knowledge of English language
∎ Willingness and ability to travel for factory visits and supplier audits as needed.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Guide and support a team of textile technologists, ensuring smooth teamwork.
∎ Oversee product development, keeping projects on schedule and meeting quality standards.
∎ Track progress and report updates to direct supervisor.
∎ Promote a positive, innovative team environment
∎ Assist in evaluating and selecting manufacturing options aligned with company strategy.
∎ Ensure products meet brand quality standards by overseeing the selection and approval of fabrics, trims, and other materials.
∎ Overseeing the approval of pre-production samples for fit, construction, and quality.
∎ Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve production issues and maintain quality.
∎ Provide input on supplier performance regarding quality and cost.
∎ Support internal audits and help improve development processes in line with company policies and international regulations.
∎ Use PLM software to update product records and track development progress.
∎ Take corrective actions for any quality issues and ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
