Job Context:
∎ Project name: Combating Intimate Partner Violence in Bangladesh in the Context of COVID-19 Project, based at Gazipur/ Dhaka
∎ This Contract will be up to March 31, 2022
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Develop and manage a results oriented team:
∎ Provide guidance and leadership to develop staff capacities for reaching the targets as per work-plan
∎ Provide regular supervision, coaching and mentoring support.
∎ Enable staff development in line with team and individual development plans.
∎ Ensure that all project personnel (CARE and partner) receive necessary orientation and training required by the project (to CARE, to project design and plans etc) and other policy related compliance issues
∎ Nurture a positive learning culture and foster adaptive capacity of the project staff
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 to 8 years of program experience at senior level in key thematic areas such as women and girls rights women empowerment, adolescent programming and gender based violence
∎ Strong understanding and knowledge on gender and women empowerment and well conversant with current approaches and debates on gender equality
∎ Strong track record of working on Gender Based Violence (GBV)
∎ Strong relationship building and networking capacity with media, civil society organizations and other key stakeholder particularly in the area of women empowerment and violence against women.
∎ Proficient in creating issue specific linkages with various stakeholders involved with the issue.
∎ Sound knowledge in monitoring, learning and evaluation.
∎ Proven track record of managing projects and financial oversight.
∎ Sound knowledge of the economic, political and social issues concerning gender relations in Bangladesh.
∎ Strong team player.
∎ Competent computer skills - especially MS Office and software used for producing PR material.
∎ Reporting and presentation skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Creativity and innovative thinking
