Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Science/Gender Studies/Anthropology/Law or other relevant discipline with emphasis on development.

∎ 7 to 8 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duration: Duration of the contract will be up to March 31, 2022 with high possibility of extension.
∎ Collective Impact on Future of Work in Bangladesh Project
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 to 8 years of senior management experience in project management in the area of gender and emergencies. Experience of work in readymade garment sector is preferred.
∎ Proven experience combining formal expertise on gender mainstreaming and gender equality with experience of applying these concretely to specific needs during emergencies.
∎ Proficient in creating issue specific linkages with various stakeholders involved with the issue.
∎ Direct experience of staff management and fund management.
∎ Sound knowledge of the economic, political and social issues concerning gender relations, women's rights and workers' rights in Bangladesh.
∎ Good knowledge on M&E systems that can feed information and data required for improving program quality and generating deeper impact.
∎ Proven capacity of facilitation/training.
∎ Experience of proposal and donor report writing.
∎ Good interpersonal skills.
∎ Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing, negotiation and coaching.
∎ Strong results orientation, with the ability to challenge existing mindsets.
∎ Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.
∎ Ability to present complex information in a succinct and compelling manner.
∎ Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies.
∎ Ability in networking, advocacy and influencing
∎ Willingness to be deployed part or full time for emergency response, as per need and as directed.
∎ Fluency in English, both verbal and written, required.
