Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, script, code, test, and document the development of custom software, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered bespoke solutions.
∎ Ensure systems change management is carried out in accordance with agreed standards and procedures. Create and manage test and development environments to allow system improvements to be made with the minimum impact on services.
∎ Provide third-tier system support. Analyse third-tier requests, identifying patterns and providing appropriate tools, documents or training to the supporter teams and service desk.
∎ Recommend software upgrades for customers' existing programs and systems
∎ Prepare documentations of models and diagrams (such as flowcharts) that instruct programmers how to write the software code
∎ Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software
∎ Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
∎ Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
∎ Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
∎ Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
∎ Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
