Professional certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, CKA/CKAD, IBM Certified AIX Administrator, or Storage Vendor Certifications (e.g., Dell EMC, IBM, NetApp, HPE) are highly preferred

In total 3-7 Years practical experience in
Unix/Linux system administration
Strong hands-on experience in managing AIX, Linux, VMware, and Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
Proven experience in managing enterprise storage systems including SAN fabric, LUN provisioning, and backup integration
Responsibilities & Context:
Administer and maintain IBM AIX and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/Solaris) operating systems in enterprise environments
Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere/ESXi virtualization platforms
Administer Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and container-based applications
Manage and maintain enterprise-grade storage systems (SAN/NAS) including provisioning, performance tuning, replication, and snapshot management
Perform regular system upgrades, patching, health checks, and monitoring
Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies for servers and storage
Work closely with application, security, and network teams to support infrastructure needs
Maintain detailed documentation for systems, storage configurations, and procedures
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements
Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
