Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Working With Global Wintel team to implement, support and maintain infrastructure such as Dell/Cisco servers, VMware, Windows servers, tape library, etc.
∎ Supporting Microsoft environment such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SharePoint, File and Print Servers, etc.
∎ Support Local backups using CommVault and ensuring tapes are sent to offsite/safe location
∎ Support patching of local systems Servers, workstations, and MES systems.
∎ Setup, maintain and Support local MES (manufacturing systems)
∎ Working with 3rd party vendors for support.
∎ Assisting in the budget requirements and working with vendors for getting quotes
∎ Support of SCCM environment working with global team to maintain the Gildan image as well as package creation/deployments and maintenance of the environment
∎ Required to travel within facilities in Bangladesh also required to be available for international travel to other Gildan facilities.
∎ The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the setup and support of the local IT infrastructure; the system administrator will also provide global support as needed. The role will include supporting local intel equipment, manufacturing systems, SCCM imaging, applying the security standards and will be seen as a local SME. As the primary local System Administrator, this position will be the point of contact for auditing, support & incident management as well as supporting SCCM imaging for the local site.
