• Experience of concepts of current hardware systems, RAID, SAN, and networking principals is essential.

• Experience as a Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer / Windows Enterprise Server and Linux Administrator.

• Strong knowledge and experience with both Windows and Linux.

• Experience with configuration of system monitoring & management tools.·

• Working knowledge of virtualization technologies as well as strong scripting abilities;

• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills. Experience with network sniffers and security;

• Monitoring the health, performance, and security of the servers.

• Experience working using Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), SCVMM (System Center Virtual Machine Manager)CISCO or other globally recognized certification. Experience in Similar work for at least 2 years

• Maintenance of DRC and Mirror site

• Data Center Hardware and software maintenance, replacement, specification preparation and configuration of new hardware and software for new Data center in BPPA’s new building and Mirror site at BCC

• Ensure health check of Storage, Blade system to address all system generated alerts and events.

• Ensure all security patches and anti-virus updates are deployed in all the servers in DC site and DR site through Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)

• Maintain all virtual machines through SCVMM (System Center Virtual Machine Manager) across DC and DR

• Maintain network equipment like routers, firewall, IPS, Web Application Firewall, Switches, SIEM etc. and check related event logs on regular basis

• Ensure all Power Supply Units are working Fine

• Monitor and administer the Network Operation Center (NOC)

• Check Application Availability

• Check the Health of the Server

• Check resource utilization of all server physical server/ virtual machine i.e. Memory, CPU, disk I/O, network utilization etc.

• Check Critical Events & Services

• Check the Hard disk Size and Utilization

• Periodic Changing of Password in Servers

• Check antivirus Scan Results

• Run Cluster Validation Report

• Check the Windows Updates

• Check the backup Schedules

• Check LUN Availability to Server

• Check Storage Scan Disk Availability

• Check SAN Switch Power Availability

• Check Storage Disk Space utilization

• Check the Generated Alerts and Handle tickets

• Check the CCTV, Precision AC Availability.

• Setup International standard security policies for users

• Information Technology Issues and Initiatives

• Periodic Backup of Configurations

• Reachability of all Network Devices

• Check the IPS Logs, Logs/Entry Records, Active Alarms

• UPS Availability

• Check Alarms on Fire Control panel
