Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct SSC audit based on C&A’s Code of Conduct in the production units and upstream suppliers e.g. washing units and fabric mills.
∎ Control the audit process.
∎ Explain C&A expectation and provide guidance to suppliers and production unit’s onsite whenever rooms for improvements are identified.
∎ Prepare and explain corrective action plan onsite.
∎ Set targets in respect of the above work.
∎ Clearly document audit findings and observations with supporting evidence.
∎ Be aware of relevant law updates and industry trends to contribute to building SSC team’s knowledge, expertise and drive towards leadership in the industry.
∎ Contribute to the evolvement of the audit protocol and procedures within a Standard Operating Procedure and the enhancement of the audit guidance document for suppliers.
∎ Work as a team to support SSC hub manager and internal stakeholders.
∎ Frequent domestic and international travels are required to conduct audits.
∎ Report any un-ethical behaviors at all times.
∎ Manage and control the inspections and audits based on C&A’s Code of Conduct.

∎ Possess a positive attitude, helpful and shows empathy
∎ Willing to share knowledge with the suppliers, PUs and internal stakeholders
∎ Flexible and resourceful to carry out field work independently
∎ Good report writing skills in English and relevant local language
∎ Having knowledge and experience in the manufacturing or apparel industry
∎ Can do attitude & high level of intelligence will be ideal for the desired candidate.

Read Before Apply: The SSC auditor’s role is to act as C&A’s eyes and ears by auditing our supplier’s production units for both social and environmental compliance. From time to time the auditor will be responsible for conducting investigations when allegations are made. This position will work closely and interact with C&A SSC team, sourcing hub’s business units, its suppliers and their production units.
