• Understands and focuses on our customer.

• Has good understanding of fabric/component construction & costing.

• Experienced and understanding of the local sourcing market.

• Has focused product knowledge / experience on garment, fabric, yarns and components.

• Good communicator, detail minded, very cost conscious.

• Intelligent and analytical

• Ability to build good relationships with cross functional parties: Buying, Product Development Quality , SSC , Technical teams and Suppliers.

• High levels of integrity

Lead the fabric team for their assigned categories. Manages team performance, deliverables. Provides input in the development of the E2E calendar and Communicates with the cross functional partners on key milestones and improvements. Executes/monitors the development of key yarns and fabrics. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Manage E2E Calendar 
• Lead, Coach and develop the team 
• Monitor performance KPI on Design to Cost, Critical path (E2E Milestones); Manages yarn and fabric , activities and collaboration, Development ratio (Hit Rate) 
• Ensures yarn and fabrics are available for sample execution (ensure availability within E2E milestones) 
• Operates within the Sourcing Strategy for the assigned category / Division and discuss specific Sourcing requirements for their assigned areas. 
• Manage the workload of the team - including Fabric Technical Services 
• Pre-Screen line plan & programs to allocate workload and initial risk assessment 
• Participates in collaborative development meetings between Design, Merchant, and Technical Services 
• Negotiate yarn and fabric prices 
• Manage raw material capacity bookings 

TEAM / SUPERVISION: 

•  Raw Materials Manager supervise Sr. Merchandisers, Merchandiser & Assistant Merchandiser and monitor order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality and on time delivery.
•  Assess and evaluate work and provide guidance and Sr. Merchandisers, Merchandiser & Assistant Merchandiser.
