Working closely with the Quality & Sourcing teams, drive the C&A quality message in our materials supply chain through the application of their knowledge of material processes and industry best practice in order to achieve the C&A Brand requirements for its customer. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that raw material of the product comply with C&A requirements on quality, safety, color, test performance throughout C&A supply chain.

• Review fabric and applicable garment testing reports with sample assessment to make decision.

• Frequent supplier/mill visit and monitoring bulk fabric production consistency and troubleshoot where necessary.

• Establish C&A Fabric Technical Manual, Color Manual and all relevant SOPs throughtout the supply chain.

• Investigate the root cause of quality non-conformity, take action plan with supplier/mill and continue follow up to secure right process and quality.

• Involve into fabric development process and provide technical support to achieve right quality and secure test.

• Support the raw material supply base by providing advice on process improvement when required.

• Color approval, PLM update, Data Color machine operation and reporting, maintain color library, supplier/mill color performance evaluation, supplier/mill development to ensure Right First Time (RFT) both in lab dip and bulk production.

• Collaborate with Fabric Technical team, Lab Technical team and Quality & Safety Standard team and ensure working processes and functions are aligned globally.

• Monthly report generation on fabric performance KPI, testing area, etc.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams i.e. Raw Material, Sourcing, Product Development and Sustainability team for actively participating into value driven activities.

• Maintain close connection with C&A authorized 3rd party labs and their representatives.

• Establish and maintain close working relationship with market leaders in the field of dyes/textile chemicals in order to promote constant improvement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES· 

• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English.

• Experience working with, or for, European/USA retailers.

• Excellent presentation skill (Power Point)

• Data management skill (MS Excel, Power BI)

• High levels of integrity.
