Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Experience from working with social audit programs such as SMETA, BSCI and Better Work
∎ Understanding of the HIGG reporting platform and experience of environmental performance reporting
∎ Strong knowledge of international and local standards, frameworks and regulations related to human rights, labour rights and industrial relations, environmental impact and health & safety
∎ Skilled in collecting and analyzing data and prepare reports on social and environmental sustainability
∎ Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: SA8000 Introduction Basic Auditor Training Course, ISO 14001:2004 (Environment Management System),,OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health Safety)
∎ Skills Required: Analytical Skills, Excellent communication, Excellent communication skill, Problem Solving Skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with internal departments to ensure compliance with Company's corporate code of conduct and all relevant local laws and regulations
∎ Maintain a track record of all certificates, permits and approvals needed to operate as a business and ensure these are renewed on time
∎ Book, prepare for, assist and follow up audits and assessments
∎ Act as contact point for clients at Company for sustainability-related matters
∎ Arrange regular training on sustainability standards and best practices
∎ Plan for, conduct and follow up on fire and emergency drills as relevant
∎ Track social and environmental sustainability goals and KPIs, evaluate performance and support continuous improvement
∎ Develop and support local sustainability initiatives that positively impact people and planet
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports for various internal and external audiences
∎ Review compliance audit reports, evaluate findings, questions and action plans
∎ Build an internal controls system to ensure risks / issues are addressed timely and progress reported regularly
∎ Develop a mechanism to escalate any serious or zero tolerance findings
∎ Develop a recognition / reward systems to reinforce strong performance
∎ Own the relationship with Company clients for all issues related to social and environmental sustainability; work closely with Company sales team and customers' sustainability and compliance counterparts
∎ Keep track of new customer requirements and updates and work with internal stakeholders to address and adjust practices accordingly

∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
∎ Frequent travelling is required
∎ Fluency in Bengali
