Additional Requirements:
Advanced certifications such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are preferred.
CIPS (Chartered Institution of Procurement and Supply) and also PGD in Supply Chain Management.
Proven track record of managing inventory levels and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Understanding on S&OP and S&OE.
Outstanding communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with ERP systems for planning and scheduling activities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with tight deadlines.
Flexibility to travel occasionally for supplier audits or operational reviews.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and implement short- and long-term supply plans to align with demand forecasts.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock while optimizing storage costs.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and compliance with contracts.
Prepare detailed reports on supply chain performance metrics such as forecast accuracy and vendor scorecards.
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Use ERP systems to manage production schedules, inventory levels, and procurement processes.
