Responsibilities & Context:
The Supervisor – Transport Operations is responsible for overseeing daily fleet activities, ensuring efficient dispatch, timely delivery, and smooth coordination between transport, warehouse, and sales teams. The role focuses on driver management, vehicle monitoring, and maintaining operational efficiency in a fast-paced cement industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily fleet operations, including dispatch, delivery, and scheduling
Manage drivers, helpers, and vehicle allocation effectively
Monitor vehicle movement using GPS tracking systems
Ensure on-time loading and timely delivery of goods
Track vehicle gate in/out times and minimize idle time
Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and maintenance teams
Handle operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, and route deviations
Maintain and update reports (trip, fuel, attendance, performance)
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Monitor driver performance and ensure discipline and route adherence
