Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Meet with students individually to discuss their academic interests, career goals, and financial considerations.
∎ Assess their eligibility for various study abroad programs and provide tailored advice on university selection, course choices, and study destinations (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Australia).
∎ Help students understand the study options available to them and guide them through their academic journey, from high school to post-graduate studies.
∎ Provide expert advice on suitable universities and programs that align with students' academic strengths, interests, and career aspirations.
∎ Stay informed about the latest courses, universities, and scholarship opportunities available in key study destinations.
∎ Help students understand university rankings, course structures, and career prospects post-graduation.
∎ Guide students through the university application process, ensuring that all documentation, such as transcripts, recommendation letters, and personal statements, is prepared and submitted on time.
∎ Advise students on writing strong personal statements and completing application forms to maximize their chances of acceptance.
∎ Assist students in understanding the visa application process for their chosen study destination.
∎ Provide detailed guidance on the required documents, the application process, and interview preparation.
∎ Ensure that students are well-prepared for their visa interviews and other necessary steps to obtain student visas.
∎ Help students identify scholarship opportunities and guide them through the application process for various funding options.
∎ Advise on financial planning, including budgeting for tuition fees, living expenses, and other costs associated with studying abroad.
∎ Follow up with students throughout the application process, providing ongoing support to ensure they are on track and meeting deadlines.
∎ Offer guidance and support after acceptance to ensure smooth transitions for students moving abroad, including advice on accommodation, cultural adjustment, and travel arrangements.
∎ Contribute to the growth of StudyLink Advisor BD by engaging with prospective students through social media platforms, email campaigns, and webinars.
∎ Share success stories and educational tips to keep students informed and motivated during the decision-making and application process.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, application statuses, and progress reports.
∎ Provide feedback and regular updates to the management team on student queries, concerns, and achievements.
∎ As a Student Counselor at StudyLink Advisor BD, you will play a key role in helping students make informed decisions about their educational and career paths, particularly those seeking to study abroad. You will provide personalized guidance to prospective students, assisting them with everything from choosing the right program and university to navigating application processes, visa requirements, and scholarships. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring that students have a smooth and successful experience while pursuing their academic goals.
