  • Minimum 15 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in resort settings
  • Proven track record as a GM or in senior leadership roles in boutique or luxury properties
  • Overseas experience is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese/ French is a plus

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a visionary and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of our boutique villa resort located in Gazipur. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead a multicultural team toward delivering a world-class guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments: housekeeping, F&B, front office, guest services, maintenance, and recreation
  • Monitor cost control across departments, including procurement, inventory, and labor, to optimize profitability without compromising quality
  • Ensure consistently quality standards of cleanliness, culinary excellence, and guest satisfaction
  • Curate and supervise recreational and cultural experiences for guests
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal, landscaping, and overall ambiance of the resort
  • Implement sustainable practices in operations, waste management, and energy usage
  • Lead recruitment, training, and staff development programs
  • Create and manage operational budgets and financial reports
  • Develop marketing strategies and partnerships to drive bookings
  • Handle guest feedback, crisis resolution, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Liaise with local authorities and ensure compliance with all hospitality regulations
  • Take on other related operational and managerial tasks as required by resort/club management from time to time
