Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Merchandising & Planning Manager to lead initiatives aimed at improving supply chain management and production planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of industry best practices, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GAP Analysis and Process Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of supply chain management and production planning processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
Utilize data analysis and benchmarking against industry best practices to evaluate process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
2. Solution Generation and Innovation:
Generate innovative and sustainable solutions to address identified gaps and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain and production planning processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, leveraging technology, automation, and best practices.
3. Strategic Alignment:
Partner with the Strategic Management team to ensure that process improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives and support the overall strategic direction of the organization.
Provide insights and recommendations based on process analysis to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
4. Supply Chain Optimization:
Optimize inventory management practices to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and improve inventory turnover.
Enhance supplier relationship management processes to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components.
5.Production Planning Enhancement:
Improve production planning processes to optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and enhance production efficiency.
Implement forecasting and demand planning techniques to anticipate customer demand and align production schedules accordingly.
