∎ CARE Bangladesh is currently seeking a Strategic Partnerships Advisor. CARE Bangladesh engages in many different types of partnerships in order to achieve our goals. We are committed to working with a range of partners at different levels, from community organizations and local government institutions to national level institutions and international agencies. To further strengthen this area, we are currently seeking to fill the position of Strategic Partnership Advisor.
∎ This role would drive CARE Bangladesh's agenda of localization and meaningful partnerships so that our Programs and Program Participants benefit with longer lasting change. The Advisor will be responsible for leading CARE Bangladesh in partnerships at all levels and expanding its partnership relationships e.g. with local organizations and, in consortia, with like-minded international and national organizations. . The expectation is also to amplify capacity building and supportive supervision/mentoring initiatives between CARE and partners' teams. This position is responsible for establishing overall strategic and transformational relations with CARE Bangladesh s and partners and provision of related technical support throughout the project life cycle.
∎ The Strategic Partnerships Advisor will facilitate the formation and building of links between these different levels of partners for the development of sustainable benefits and structures to deliver services, carrying out research, influence policy, building capacity, gaining access to relevant actors and processes, and facilitating deeper and more strategic links between different types and levels of institutions. The role will have significant contribution in developing a commitment to accountability by providing a mutually agreed capacity development process to improve systems and quality implementation for CARE partners.
∎ The Strategic Partnerships Advisor will take a systematic and integrated approach to partners' capacity development, through shared reflection and learning, facilitating training, provision of technical support and mentorship in all organizational areas which will lead to improved financial systems of partner organizations; human resource and recruitment practices; program management, delivery and reporting due to well-established M&E systems and compliance to respective statutory requirements and policies.
∎ A key role will be to build trust and transparency and ensure relationships are established based on agreed shared vision, goals, values and/or interests in order to promote a culture of equality, mutual support and respect for differences.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 years' experience in partnership development in Development and Humanitarian context.
∎ Experience in working in partnerships with INGOs, local implementing NGOs, community-based organizations, civil societies, and government offices.
∎ Experience in proposal and budget development.
∎ Experience in capacity building endeavors.
∎ Experience in monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Experience in project management and humanitarian interventions.
∎ Experience with facilitating training and workshops.
∎ Team player with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
∎ Self- starter and independent organizer; Strong teamwork and inter-personal skills; Able to facilitate training; Negotiation and relationship skills; Gender sensitivity and cultural sensitivity.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, databases, desktop publishing, etc; Strategic and operational planning; Facilitation, training and capacity development; Systems analysis and development; Communication and program briefing materials preparation.
∎ Fluent in Bangla and strong English language skills.
