∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
storekeeping
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor all incoming and outgoing items, material and equipment.
∎ Monitor the quality of products at the time of receipt. Put aside non-compliant or infected products and report to the Site Logistics Officer.
∎ Participate in monthly stored goods and equipment inventories and reconciliation with what should be in stock.
∎ Draft or complete dispatch and receipt documents in compliance with Tdh standards.
∎ Ensure that equipment and machines used by teams are cleaned before returning to storage.
∎ Regularly monitor the quality of the items/goods during storage and pay special attention to expiration dates.
∎ Monitor the storage facilities and infrastructure, identify potential damages and propose the necessary repairs.
∎ Supervise regular cleaning and disinfection of storage spaces (introduce protection against insects and pests inside the storage spaces and apply treatment upon the first sign of infection).
∎ Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage spaces.
∎ When required, supervise the team of daily workers charged with storage activities
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience in storekeeping with (I)NGO in relief context (minimum 1 year)
∎ Computer skills with MS Office (Excel in particular)
∎ Ability to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
∎ Proficient in English
∎ Fluency in the local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
∎ Professionalism, honesty and thoroughness
∎ High flexibility and ability to work under pressure and in a volatile environment
Salary: Tk. 28000 (Monthly)
