Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure, at the field level, that assigned activities are implemented according to HP work plan and methodology validated by the WASH Activity Coordinator.
∎ Support the line manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual activity planning.
∎ Under the supervision of the WASH Activity Coordinator prepare case study.
∎ Support the design of HP Needs Assessments tools.
∎ Identify gaps in terms of HP at the Field level.
∎ Support the translation of questionnaires into Chittagonian as per need.
∎ Carry out and assist the KAP survey, baseline survey, midline survey and other necessary surveys.
∎ Develop waste and HP messages and campaigns.
∎ Support the Infrastructure team to design of a waste management system.
∎ Support and manage the assessment team and M&E department as per project/organizational needs.
∎ Collect qualitative and quantitative data and elaborate reports accordingly.
∎ Oral reports and constant communication with the WASH Activity Coordinator.
∎ Flag and report any abuse or security issue in the community.
∎ Design monitoring tools to observe all implementing activities.
∎ Regular field visits and provides necessary feedback to the HP team.
∎ Supervise and close contact with 2 HP Assistant for the field level activities and progress.
∎ Training module and other necessary SOP develop with the guidance of the WASH Activity Coordinator.
∎ Conduct/organize HP related deferent day observation and campaign at Upazila and Camp level.
∎ Develop HP related IEC/BCC Materials and monitor the distribution of IEC materials to be used at the community (refugees & host) level.
∎ Ensure the proper dissemination of hygiene and sanitation messages to the community at the grass-root level by the HP team.
∎ Plan and organize different hygiene promotion training/orientation for the HP team.
∎ Produces activity progress reports as per the preset reporting schedule and submits to the supervisor.
∎ Support and/or lead basic training and awareness sessions at the Field level.
∎ Monitor the achievements for assigned activities and report to the line manager.
∎ Identify beneficiaries based on relevant selection criteria approved by the WASH Activity Coordinator.
∎ Explain to the beneficiaries the planned activities like Session, HH’s visit, distribution, camp cleaning, solid waste management, drama session, day observation etc.
∎ Participate in data collection and other needs assessment survey at the field level.
∎ Plan and ensure the proper distribution of Non-Food Items (different types of hygiene kit, waste bin, aqua tabs, handwashing device etc.).
∎ Participate in different types of training/meeting on HP.
∎ Coordination with other WASH actors at Camp and Host Community level.
∎ Have and promote good behaviour on the field
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs of the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience of HP activities such as training, session, meeting conduction, HH’s visit, NFI distribution, survey reporting etc.
∎ Ability to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
∎ Fluency in the local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English will be considered as a plus
∎ Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
∎ Excellent organization and communication skills
∎ Professionalism and thoroughnessGood capacity to work under pressure
