Responsibilities & Context:
ACI PLC is one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh, operating across diverse sectors with a strong nationwide presence. To ensure efficient and accurate store operations in line with our growing distribution network, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring batch accuracy, maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures, and supporting depot operations through timely and accurate stock handling.
The incumbent will be expected to:
- Organize and monitor the proper storage, delivery, and dispatch of goods to support uninterrupted depot operations.
- Coordinate with the sales team to support daily sales planning and help achieve daily MRP (Material Requirements Planning) targets efficiently.
- Maintain accurate stock control records, ensuring all data is up to date in both automated and manual systems.
- Generate and share regular inventory reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; assist in planning and material control meetings.
- Brief warehouse assistants/team members daily, creating a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Assist in identifying idle, excess, and obsolete stock and coordinate with management for proper disposal as per guidelines.
- Propose improvements to warehouse operations and contribute ideas to enhance Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and security standards within the store premises.
- Support internal audits and periodic reviews by maintaining proper documentation and assisting relevant teams.
