Job Context:
∎ iSocial - Infolady Social Enterprise Ltd., a national leader in market solutions aimed at the bottom of the socioeconomic pyramid is looking for an ambitious and precocious Sr.Web Developer on our Digital Solutions team.
∎ Company Description: iSocial (Infolady Social Enterprise Ltd.) is a social enterprise bridging marginalized communities and market through digital innovation and a last-mile delivery network. This entrepreneurship model is a dynamic one, which has won several prizes over the last few years and made a visible impact by bringing socio-economic changes to the lives of rural communities. Through partnership and support from the ICT Division and Department of ICT of Bangladesh Government, iSocial has taken initiative to spread its women micro merchant (Kallyani) initiative to 16 districts. The organization plans to deploy 10,000 Kallyanis across the nation by the end of 2021 - a bold step towards fulfilling the vision of Digital Bangladesh.
∎ Job Nature: Fulltime, Sunday to Thursday.(Currently Doing Work from Home Office)
∎ Job Location: 3rd Floor, House 26, Road 7, Block G, Banani, Dhaka, 1213.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable, scalable code, actively keeping the quality of the codebase in check
∎ Customize existing PHP project
∎ Re-engineer/customize existing (any) PHP based Framework (any) systems/web application/software/CMS (e.g. Wordpress) to allow for flexibility, stability, and scalability while preserving existing functionality
∎ Accurately and consistently prepare documentation for technology solutions for multiple audiences, including clients, teammates, and external contractors.
∎ Working closely with product management team in prototyping and designing new features and solutions.
∎ Ensure the application built is optimized for speed and scalability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year job experience as abackend web developer.
∎ Must have full time job experience as a developer.
∎ Advanced analytical and mathematical skills.
∎ Excellent coding skills in PHP7.2.
∎ Knowledge of PHP Extensions: BCMath, Ctype, Fileinfo, JSON, Mbstring, OpenSSL, PDO, Tokenizer and XML.
∎ Experience working in latest version of MariaDB.
∎ Strong knowledge on CSS 3, bootstrap 3.7, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML 5.
∎ Experience with handling & querying relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL)
∎ Great interpersonal skills and leadership acumen while working on cross-functional teams.
∎ Familiarity with agile or other rapid application development cycles.
∎ Knowledge in software engineering (e.g. Architecture, Design, Implementation, Algorithms, Build, Deploy, Computer Architectures, Unit test, System Test, etc.).
∎ Outstanding debugging and problem-solving ability.
∎ Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
∎ Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
∎ Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
