Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Install and maintain effective quality management system to ensure product’s quality 2.Ensure highest standard of quality from starting to finishing of the production process 3. Plan, coordinate and implement the quality control system in the floor 4.Receive the Purchase order sheet, trims and accessories inventory report 5.Ensure that the quality management system is in place & working as envisaged 6.Make his team members understand the buyers specifications through an orientation at the beginning of new product style 7. Ensure that the existing quality control system is appropriate to satisfy the buyers 8. Examine the weaknesses of the existing quality control system and modify to make the system more effective. 9.Make sure that all of his staff members are well conversant and trained on quality assurance and defects usually occurs in the production process 10.Prepare quality manual including all policies, procedures, methods, techniques and tools to unify the actions. 11.Ensure that the suppliers and customers chain is maintained in the production process 12.Ensure that effective communication and coordination among the concern department/ responsible persons is done on time in regular basis. 13.Ensure that the AQL of the Company is properly maintained and exceeded 14.Install both preventing and remedial measures against occurrence of any defect in products 15.Ensure that the production commences only when worksheet, approved sample, and Swatch cards are at hand. 16. Make sure the rigorous control of repairable, washable and reject garments 17.Ensure that all goods coming in the store are rigorously inspected for both quality and quality assurance by the quality team. 18.Confirm actual specification of buyers if there is any ambiguity or confusion. 19.Receive production plan regarding shipment of the products from the senior management 20.Conduct frequent quality audit and ensure control over the cutting, sewing , quality and finishing section in order to ensure quality of the product 21.Participate in the Pre-Production Planning meeting and contribute to make it successful. 22.Technical and Compliance system analysis for different buyers. 23.Update all the internal & external QA reports on time as per Buyers required. 24.Conduct performance appraisal, identify weakness and improve the performance of the subordinate. 25.Conduct periodic training program for team members to develop their skill & capacity to perform their activities effectively. 26.Motivate the team members and ensure proper discipline in work place to keep up their morale 27.Keep meaningful contribution in confirming timely shipment in accordance with the time chart. 28. Ensure to prepare and submit various reports such as; thread cut inspection, in-process inspection, lot pass audit, measurement status, End-line inspection, metal detector calibration, garments passed report by metal detector, daily rejection report, UPC/Print sticker check report, style closing report, pre-final/final inspection, Root Cause Analysis report etc. required by the management properly and timely. 29.Ensure Using PPE of workers and proper housekeeping of working area.
