Job Context:
∎ A renowned export-oriented woven-based garments industry (3 associates factories having 170 Sewing lines, exporting more than 4.5 Million pcs garments per month) located in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎ We are seeking a candidate for the post of "Sr.Pattern Master". The incumbent must have initiative, experience and the drive to deliver high-quality results
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for making/designing pattern by updated lectra software
∎ Creating rough-draft templates using computer drafting software and freehand techniques.
∎ Measuring, cutting, and designing patterns in the material required & Sending the initial pattern for a manufacture check.
∎ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design models & proficient with computer drafting software including CAD.
∎ Experience with measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools & detail-oriented.
∎ Physically fit and able to stand for long periods & Prepare and develop Pattern independently.
∎ Verify & check patterns, buyer comments to ensure the accuracy of the measurements of garments.
∎ Communicate with product development team to make the product feasible for production and at the same time meeting customers' demand.
∎ Arrange style wise pattern designing and pattern grading to ensure zero error cutting.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD and making 100% accurate markers.
∎ Regular follow up with sampling, proto sample, size sets, fit samples and production samples also examine sketches, sample articles, and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts, and to determine the amount of material or fabric required to make a product.
∎ Provide instructions to factories on pattern making/ grading, garment construction and sewing operations and find alternatives & monitor fit, measurements and workmanship according to the customer requirements, from Development to Production.
∎ Evaluate the sample for fit, proportion, silhouette, seam positions and other design features and subsequently make the necessary rectifications whilst consulting the sample room manager in the event of complications.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience in using Lectra software for pattern making.
∎ The applicants should have experience in woven garments factory.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following Brands: C&A,H&M,Next,Cotton On,Bestseller,Inditex, Kontoor,Tom tailor
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
