Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop Trims & Accessories According to Business Need.
∎ Keep updated on new developments in the market.
∎ Market analysis for new product.
∎ Source potential supplier for the product.
∎ Ensure Component Quality and Capacity.
∎ Communicate Company's physical and chemical requirement and restriction to the supplier.
∎ Make relevant tests on materials during development stage, if required, in coordination with the QA team.
∎ Analyze suppliers' capacity and capability.
∎ Secure Best Price on New Development.
∎ Keep updated about material prices in the market.
∎ Ensure right product cost through negotiation.
∎ Establish a competitive market atmosphere for the entire product by engaging suppliers for each product.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Understands and focuses on Her, our customer
∎ Has good understanding of fabric/component construction & costing.
∎ Experienced and understanding of the local sourcing market.
∎ Has focused product knowledge / experience on garment, fabric, yarns and components.
∎ Good communicator, detail minded, very cost conscious
∎ Intelligent and analytical
∎ Ability to build good relationships with cross-functional parties eg: Buying, Product Development Quality, SSC, Technical teams and Suppliers.
∎ High levels of integrity.
