Education:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Engineering

Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Age At least 30 years

• Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, sewing, cutting, finishing, and quality control.

• Experience working with international buyers (Europe/USA) is preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for knitwear and lingerie production.

• Ensure compliance with international standards (AQL, ISO, BSCI, WRAP) and buyer-specific requirements.

• Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections (e.g., SGS, BV, Intertek).

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (6σ) and 5S methodologies to reduce defects and improve efficiency.

• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• Monitor KPIs (e.g., defect rate, rework levels) and drive continuous improvement (Kaizen).

• Train and mentor QC teams on quality standards, inspection protocols, and defect prevention.

• Collaborate with production, merchandising, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related challenges.

• Evaluate fabric and trim suppliers for quality compliance.

• Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution to maintain buyer satisfaction.
