Job Context:
∎ The position will be in factory.
∎ Candidate must have proven knowledge on Social Compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have to ensure implementation of the Compliance and Audit in the factory.
∎ Should carry out regular Compliance Audit, follow-up for implementation and provide reports thereof.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on SLCP/FSLM, Better Work Bangladesh audit, SEDEX, BSCI, Alliance, OCS, RCS, GOTS, GRS, OKE-TEX, ISO OSH 45001:2018
∎ Should have to monitor all health & safety issues & environmental issues in the whole factory premises.
∎ Should have to Perform Compliance Internal audits in factory.
∎ Should Prepare a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports.
∎ Should have to arrange training such as Orientation, Health & Safety, Fire Training, First Aid, and security awareness training, etc. effectively.
∎ Should ensure Non-Discrimination in course of employment, paying/providing wages/salary/benefits/ facilities/welfare, no Force employment occurred in the factories, no Child/Child Looking Workers are in practice.
∎ Should liaison with merchandising, Production, IE, Planning and QA Department in order to coordinate with Buyers visits and take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/ Govt. and compliance visit and audit.
∎ Should communicate with BGMEA, Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation etc.
∎ Should have to lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & trained-up fellow staff.
∎ Should have to support HR team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluently written and spoken English
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Strong leadership quality to drive self-inspection model.
∎ Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Act - 2006, Rules - 2015 & Environmental laws & regulation.
∎ Willing to stay beside the factory.
